Long-Term Career Vision
Ten years from now, I don’t just want to be getting by – I want to be fully thriving. I see myself as a senior-level professional or a business owner in the tech space, maybe running a small digital agency or leading projects and teams. I want to be confident in my skills and comfortable in rooms I used to be nervous to walk into.
I picture having multiple streams of income: my main career, side projects or freelance work, and investments that help my money grow while I sleep. It’s not just about having more money, it’s about having real choices.
Life, Legacy, and What Matters Most
Ten years feels far away, but I know it’ll come fast. When I think about that version of my life, I picture more peace and less scrambling. I see a cozy home, family traditions, and memories that make all of this stress and sacrifice worth it.
Here’s how I imagine different parts of my life in ten years:
- Career
- Established in tech or web development, confident and respected. Maybe mentoring newer people in the field or leading a team.
- Family
- A close, healthy relationship with my daughter and the people I love. I want her to see that “starting over” or “struggling” didn’t stop me from building something solid for us.
- Finances
- Less stress and more strategy. Debt under control, savings and retirement accounts building, and being able to make choices without panicking about every dollar.
- Health & Happiness
- Taking better care of myself on purpose – mentally, emotionally, and physically – not just when I hit a wall.
- Community & Impact
- Pouring back into others, especially women who feel stuck but know they’re capable of way more. I’d love to speak to students, help people with their own goals, or even create content that makes tech feel less intimidating.
No matter what the world looks like in ten years, I plan on adjusting, learning, and keeping it moving. I might not know every detail yet, but I know I won’t be in the same place I started.
